Get your skin glowing this winter with natural skincare

Ladies can take some simple steps to give their skin a boost this winter, from drinking more water to moisturising effectively.

Stylist magazine has selected moisturiser as a top natural skincare product every woman should have, saying that it can give a more luminous look. The experts added that a smoother surface of the skin reflects the light better – making it glow more.

Massaging natural skincare products into the skin is also recommended, as it boosts circulation and brings oxygen to skin cells.

Facial acupuncturist Annee de Mamiel told the magazine: 'Work from the chin upwards, using the middle and index finger to create circular movements, travelling upwards and outwards towards the forehead.'

Cosmetic dermatologist Dr Mervyn Patterson also suggested using pore-opening natural skincare products, adding that lukewarm water will do this before applying creams or serums. Ladies should also limit their time in the tub, as the expert said that more than 15 minutes in the bath can lead to dry and parched skin.

It is not just what goes on your skin that matters, as Kirsty Jewson, a beauty guru at Saks, recently said that a healthy diet can help create a glow from the inside out.ADNFCR-2885-ID-19557085-ADNFCR
