Buttercup yellow 'is a must-have natural makeup shade'

Ladies should play around with colour this season and have fun when applying their natural makeup, an expert has claimed.

Makeup guru Lee Pycroft told Marie Claire that colour application should be fun and easy this year, as people experiment with different shades.

One natural makeup shade he does recommend is buttercup yellow, saying that bold ladies can go for a bright canary shade while more timid people can plump for ochre.

When applying it Pycroft told the magazine that ladies should use a rounded brush, putting it at the centre of the lids and then blending outwards.

He advised using a matte natural makeup product and then putting a dash of shimmer on top. To complete the look, ladies should apply brown mascara to create softer lashes.

Pycroft added that the rest of the face should be kept simple, with pale pink on the cheeks and fresh skin.

The Daily Mail recently recommended Moroccan-inspired natural makeup, including yellows, pinks and purples.ADNFCR-2885-ID-19612535-ADNFCR
