Expert: Pick the right hair cut for your age

Everyone knows that different outfits suit women of different ages, but many ladies do not know what haircut is suitable for their age.

Stylist magazine said that ladies can ditch the Botox and surgery as a haircut can shave years off, especially if they use natural hair care products to style it correctly.

Those in their 20s can experiment to their heart's consent as fears about ageing are years off. The publication suggested trying out a fringe, bob or wavy locks, which can be created with natural hair care products.

When moving into your 30s, hair will be more flattering if it is a few inches shorter. A sweeping side fringe and softer cuts will shave the years off.

Another suggestion from the magazine is to plump for a dishevelled look if hair has thinned, using natural hair care products like mousse.

In their 40s ladies should consider longer locks as they can hide lines and plumpness, while those who want longer locks should keep it feminine with more hair on top.

One look which is universally popular at the moment is the shag, which was recently spotted on Victoria Beckham and can suit many ages.ADNFCR-2885-ID-19612145-ADNFCR
