Expert: Stop ageing with natural hair care products

Ladies who are experiencing thinning of hair and premature ageing of their locks should take action soon, an expert has recommended.

Many women in their 30s and 40s experience genetic hair thinning and this is increasingly being seen in those in their 20s and early teens, Philip Kingsley, a leading hair expert, told Stylist magazine.

He advised these ladies to nourish their hair from the inside out by boosting vitamin B and zinc intake.

Meanwhile, they can also use natural hair care products to boost their locks, with Mr Kingsley recommending ones which add volume and oomph.

'Styling-wise don't overdo the thickening products as fine hair can look 'aerated' rather than full,' he advised.

One natural hair care product which he does recommend is styling spray or light mousse to add body.

Ladies wanting a new look for their locks should try out the shag, which Jules Holland, creative director at Mark Hill Salon, said is a top look this season.ADNFCR-2885-ID-19609916-ADNFCR
