Henna 'can help quality of hair'

Henna can be used to refresh hair and restore its shine, according to an expert.

Frederic Fekkai, a leading hair expert, told Stylist magazine that quality can be maintained from the inside out, but natural hair care products can help.

Top tips from the expert included getting the locks trimmed each six weeks, to stop split ends and frazzled hair.

Fekkai added that ladies who get their hair coloured can replace the odd treatment with henna to reduce damage.

He said that it restores shine and gives hair an instant injection of colour.

Other tips to get healthy locks include using anti-ageing natural hair care products like serums, rubbing them into the scalp to help improve blood flow.

Ladies who want a different look for their locks at the moment could follow Jessica Alba's lead, as she has recently dyed her hair brown and cut it short. A few natural hair care products can help to create the wavy look that the actress plumped for.ADNFCR-2885-ID-19612143-ADNFCR
