40-year-old women using natural skincare to look younger

Natural skin care products are helping the average 40-year-old to look much more youthful than they have in the past.

That is according to cosmetics expert Alice Hart-Davis, who has cited the 'forever faces' of actresses such as Cindy Crawford, Julia Roberts, Demi Moore and Nicole Kidman as evidence of increasing use of anti-ageing technology.

Writing for the Daily Mail, the specialist said that natural skin care products are becoming more powerful and can even be tailored to the specific requirements of the user.

Celebrity nail technician Andrea Fulerton told the newspaper: 'Women are looking after themselves so much better nowadays that they always look at least five years younger than they are - and that goes for their hands, which used to be a real giveaway of age.'

A recent survey by Superdrug also found that ladies are spending more on natural skin care and makeup, with the average woman paying out nearly £9,000 during their lifetime on the products. ADNFCR-2885-ID-19673007-ADNFCR
