Buff skin immediately after using fake tan

Buff skin immediately after using fake tan
Buffing the skin immediately after using fake tan is essential for making sure the natural body care product looks good, according to an expert.

Tanning expert James Read told Elle magazine that women should use a protective mitt to smooth on the natural body care product. This also helps to avoid tell-tale orange palms.

This mitt should then also be used to buff the skin after applying fake tan, he recommended.

'Pat off any excess around your hands, wrists and feet to avoid streaking and allow the tan to blend more evenly into your skin,' he told the magazine.

Cleaning up around the eyebrows, hairline and nails on both the hands and feet is also very important to ensure the natural body care product doesn't stain.

Women should make sure they don't overdo it with the fake tan as the current trend is for a natural glow rather than the mahogany look, which has previously been favoured by some celebrities.
