Natural makeup goes tropical

Natural makeup goes tropical
Pale and interesting continues to be one of the favoured looks at the moment, but if you cannot do without a bit of colour in your natural makeup routine, a tropical blush is the way to go.

Look magazine said that this palette is being favoured by celebrities such as Girls Aloud's Nicola Roberts, explaining that it is a great way to 'perk up winter complexions'.

Robin Narvaez, makeup artist at one of New York's top beauty boutiques, Salon Eliut Rivera, has also identified this natural makeup trend.

He recently told My Fashion Life that he expected pink and orange to be extremely popular this spring.

As for tropical-hued blusher, women need to choose the right shade for their skin, according to Look.

The publication recommended that ladies with fair complexions go for a fuchsia colour while those with olive and darker tones should choose a shade with an orange tint.

Look advised women to apply the blusher onto the cheekbones, then blend it up to the temples and right out into the hairline.
