Olympian uses natural skin care products

An Olympic gold-medallist has revealed how she uses natural skin care products to make sure she looks good on the ski slopes.

US athlete Lindsey Vonn, who took top place in the downhill competition at this year's Vancouver Winter Olympics, revealed to the LA Times that she is a keen exfoliator and likes to keep her skin clean.

'I clean my skin at least once, sometimes twice, a day and I use a lot of moisturiser and sunscreen,' she said.

The skier explained that sunscreen is an important natural skin care product to battle the negative effects of ultra-violet (UV) rays, even during the winter, while waterproof mascara is also a must for those wanting to look good in bad weather.

Lavera's Naturokosmetik Anti-Aging sunscreen was recently recommended as a good chemical-free, natural skin care product for protecting against UVA and UVB rays by Beauty is Easy, which added that it conforms to European standards for blocking rays with an SPF of 15.ADNFCR-2885-ID-19673006-ADNFCR
