Stars 'use organic skin care to get ready for red carpet'

Women may want to take their lead from the stars when it comes to their natural skin care regime, as the A-listers have plenty of favoured treatments to keep them looking radiant.

Madeline Crisp, writing for the Mirror, said that face masks are among the stars' secret weapons for getting glowing complexions ready for the red carpet.

Gwyneth Paltrow, Demi Moore and Michelle Pfeiffer like to go for organic skin care, using an aloe and seaweed face mask that lifts, tightens and brightens the complexion.

Ms Crisp said that this product should be used twice a week, or daily if required.

Exfoliating and skin brightening treatments are also key elements that women should be incorporating into their natural skin care regimes if they want to get complexions worthy of the red carpet.

Jemma Kidd, writing in her column for the Daily Mail, recently gave a similar recommendation, suggesting that women use an exfoliating cleanser to remove dead cells and leave the skin looking smoother and fresher.
