Wear 'bright pops of colour' for spring natural makeup

Those looking for natural makeup to wear this spring season have been recommended to go for various hues in 'bright pops'.

In an article for msnbc.com, beauty expert Bobbi Brown said people should go for beautiful colours such as blues, purples, greens and corals.

The key to making such varied hues work together is finding the right synergy and balance with the natural makeup, Ms Brown explained.

'If you're nervous about going bright, try more intense versions of shades that you love and make you feel confident,' she recommended on the website.

For those anxious about buying bright lip colour, Ms Brown advised trying out a bright lip gloss instead.

To avoid appearing 'overdone', she said that bright shades on just one or two features should be worn.

Despite Ms Brown's thoughts about what will be hot for this coming season, Carol Cini, stylist and co-owner of Taz hair salon, told Canwest News Service that there is a 'movement toward natural tones' rather than brighter ones.ADNFCR-2885-ID-19671502-ADNFCR
