Practice using natural makeup in new colours

Practice using natural makeup in new colours
You'll no doubt want to update your natural makeup routine for spring, but if you're going for a new colour then it's advisable to pick a look out of magazine and copy it.

Beauty expert Wende Zomnir told Access Hollywood that practice is the key to perfecting a new look, so you should have a go at applying new colours just before washing your face at night.

'Feel free to experiment, be bold and try something new,' she said.

'And when it's time to rock spring's colourful new makeup, you've already taken the guesswork out of achieving a celeb-worthy look,' Ms Zomnir told the news provider.

If you're looking for inspiration when it comes to introducing new shades into your natural makeup regime, follow the lead of celebrities like Rachel McAdams, Sandra Bullock and Natalie Portman, the expert recommended.

These A-listers have all opted for a crimson or bright berry lip for the red carpet recently and it's a look that women can try for themselves at home.

Ms Bullock went for a modern twist on the classic red pout for the Oscars, where she picked up the award for best actress for her role in The Blind Side.
