Romantic, feminine hair is among spring trends

Romantic, feminine hair is among spring trends
Romantic, feminine locks with soft curls and waves are going to be fashionable this spring, in line with current clothing trends, according to an expert.

Stylist Melissa Tinker told The Olympian that it is not surprising these styles are popular considering the fashion for floral prints and pastel colours at the moment.

'The mid-length, shoulder-skimming curls are really a fresh idea to change the smooth and low-volume looks we had this winter,' added stylist Graham Ross.

He said that he expected to see 'lots of chopped-out layers, but very soft and very sexy', so women may need to invest in natural styling products to maintain these looks.

Akin Konizi, international creative director of Hob salons, has made a similar prediction, telling Metro that hair trends are all about texture this season. Volumising natural hair styling products are necessary for creating soft movement in these styles.

Stylist Tambra Evans-Hiser also told The Olympian that 'texture, volume and movement' are big trends for hair this spring.
