Use natural hair styling products for asymmetric updo

Use natural hair styling products for asymmetric updo
Naomi Watts has sported a fabulous asymmetric wavy updo and you can emulate her glamorous look with natural hair styling products.

Celebrity stylist Melissa Brown told's Showbiz section that you should start by using a moisturising shampoo and conditioner to get your hair looking healthier and easier to style.

Having towel dried your hair, you should add a mouse to the roots and throughout your tresses to add texture and help hold the style in place.

'Once the hair is dry, brush into a side parting and use a large barrelled tong to create loose, soft tousled waves over the whole head,' Ms Brown advised.

You then need to use your fingers to separate and loosen the curls.

Finally, pull the rest of the hair into a loose ponytail at the base of the neck and twist it into a bun.

Natural hair styling products are needed for the finishing touches, so you'll want to spritz hairspray on the updo to hold it in place.

Plenty of celebrities are going for natural waves and curls at the moment, with the likes of Cheryl Cole and Amanda Holden opting for these style.
