How to create Jessica Biel's undone updo

How to create Jessica Biel
Jessica Biel went for one of the top trends at the Met Costume Institute Gala - the undone updo - and you can recreate it at home using natural hair styling products.

Celebrity stylist Adir Abergel worked on Ms Biel's hair and told the LA Times that he was aiming for a look that evoked the dishevelled dos worn by Bridget Bardot, mixed with a 90s style irreverence.

He used a gel on Ms Biel's wet hair to create texture and after drying it created soft waves around her face using a curling iron.

Mr Abergel wrapped the hair around the tong and 'tugged on it while it was still hot to make it look like the curl was a few days old'.

He then spritzed the curls with hairspray and took the back section of the hair and worked it into a high French twist, pinning random pieces for a 'dreadlocked' effect.

Sexy waves were a bit of a trend at the Met Gala, with stylist Mark Townsend telling MyGloss that he chose to give Rachel Weisz loose curls to reflect the American Woman theme for the night.
