How to create a natural flush

How to create a natural flush
A natural flush is set to be one of the top trends for this summer and beauty expert Jemma Kidd has some tips on how to create this look.

Writing in her column for the Daily Mail, the expert said that cream, tinted gel and mousse blushes give a more natural effect than powder formulas.

'They also last longer, so they're perfect for the warmer months,' she continued.

Ms Kidd added that these types of natural makeup are preferable for mature skin due to their moisturising effect, since powder can be ageing.

She recommended applying blusher once you've put on all your other natural makeup, as that way you'll be able to see how strong or subtle it needs to be based on the rest of your look.

The natural flush is part of a wider trend for more feminine looks, which makeup artist Doug Atkinson recently identified.

He told the Sudbury Star that rosy pinks are among the fashionable colours for spring.
