Create a faux glow with natural makeup

Create a faux glow with natural makeup

Women looking to achieve a healthy glow without having to wait for a glorious English summer to finally arrive should try a new mixture, recommended by a blog.

Writers for the C Health blog said one of the top tips from celeb makeup artists is creating a faux glow, as there is nothing prettier than a fresh face and rosy cheeks, but this cannot be achieved by simply lathering on more natural makeup.

The blog recommends mixing a loose powder blush with a cream foundation and applying to all the areas you would naturally catch the sun.

However it warns not to apply the natural makeup concoction to the whole face, as this will only look 'clownish and not all believable'.

'People will think you just came back from vacation. Because you are mixing it with your foundation, the colour looks very natural,' it says.

The key behind successful natural makeup is skincare, according to Carolyn Brundage, writing for the Sydney Morning Herald, who said prepping before applying your beauty essentials is more important than the makeup itself.ADNFCR-2885-ID-19835367-ADNFCR
