Go purple with natural cosmetics

Go purple with natural cosmetics

Purple is the latest shade set to overtake all other colours in your organic cosmetics bag, if the celebs are anything to go by.

Amy Lawrenson, writing for Elle, said although this is a colour that should not work and has not worked since the 80s, it has been worn by many celebs and the next step could be to incorporate it into the iconic smokey eye look.

'It's the eyeshadow that shouldn't work. But these stars have done the unthinkable and brought an 80s make-up trend back to life. Purple eyeshadow - in all its hues - has been worn by everyone from Rihanna to SJP,' she said.

Makeup artist Ruby Hammer, speaking to the news provider, said the shade works wonders with hazel, green and brown eyes as it stands out and brightens up the face, and the best way to apply it is by patting it on with fingers.

The colour recently took precedent on the catwalk with Versace and Dior incorporating lilac onto the runway.ADNFCR-2885-ID-19812731-ADNFCR
