How to wear purple natural makeup

How to wear purple natural makeup

Everyone seems to be harping on about purple and how it has taken over the celeb red carpet and the catwalks, but many women will be debating how on earth to dip their toes into the purple trend without coming out looking like a natural makeup disaster.

Beauty expert Zara Rabinowicz, said purple is often a colour that is considered to be difficult to wear but urges women to remember not to go too bright unless they have darker skin, while fairer skins should opt for lilacs and mauves.

'Making sure you have the correct formula and shade is very important, as too bright and you can look like Pat Butcher and too light and you'll look drained,' she said.

She recommended, to ensure your makeup does not end up looking soap star rather than superstar, that the colour should be teamed with a muted face, going for natural cosmetics colours such as nudes, browns and taupe's.
