Women wanting the best of both worlds when it comes to natural hair dye colours should look into the latest red carpet craze named 'bronde'.

A the name suggests, it is a natural hair dye mixture of blonde and brunette, which results in a sun-kissed look perfect for summer, as stars such as Jennifer Lopez and Natalie Portman have proved.

However it should be noted that the bronde style may only be achievable by those with blonde or light-coloured hair.

'Women who might normally lighten their hair all over are going for a darker base shade with more highlights, so what you get is something that's part blonde, part brown, or 'bronde,' explained Beth Shapouri in a recap of the article on 'Glamour's' Girls in the Beauty Department blog.

According to Stylelist blog, the look can help women debating natural hair dye colours to look younger, something which has worked on model Gisele, taking years off her already radiant skin.

Some women may wish to achieve this look without nasty chemicals, using a 100% natural hair dye. However a truly natural hair dye cannot lighten your hair, but it is possible to have low lights with a natural hair dye. For women who have grey hairs mixed in with their brown hair then it may be possible to use a natural hair dye to colour their grey hairs a blonde shade.

This may be the chance for women to find out whether or not Marilyn Monroe was right when she said 'blondes [or maybe we should say brondes] have more fun'.ADNFCR-2885-ID-19858073-ADNFCR
