Emphasise natural hair dyes with a crop

Emphasise natural hair dyes with a crop

Women who have recently invested in the latest natural hair dye shades should show off their new colour with the hottest hair cut on the red carpet – the summer crop.

The short and sleek look has been adopted by a number of A-listers, from Michelle Williams to Hayden Panetierre and even veteran fashionista Cate Blanchett, who is particularly versatile with the styles of her locks.

Elle's Amy Lawrenson has already proclaimed her love for this look and explained that it will work with any natural hair dye shade and may suit women with oval faces or 'pixie-esque' features.

She said: 'This week, we love Twiggy-inspired crops. They look fresh, fun and are a great way to survive the summer's heat - loose flowing waves aren't exactly cooling.'

There are a number of variations that women can opt for on top of the different natural hair dye shades on offer – consider Heroes star Hayden – who turned the style into a glam look by sleeking the hair back and going for a quiff or Carey Mulligan's wavy, shorter 'do.
