Natural skin care and pale shades are becoming the hottest trend in Hollywood this season, it has been claimed.

Marta Topran, writing for Hollywood Life, has claimed that the milky-white skin look has been championed by top celebs including Amanda Seyfried, Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning.

Dismissing the tan trend as 'dangerous', she said that these young ladies are championing natural skin care in shunning the tanning booth and sun-lounger in favour of ethereal paleness.

Ms Topran said: 'Hopefully more young women will follow their lead and forego the hours in the sun and the time in the tanning booth when they see how totally gorgeous these ladies look!'

She added that everyone needs to ask themselves whether they are following the careful and healthy examples that these starlets are leading.

This look could be paired with red hair, which is also making its presence felt on the catwalk.

Rihanna and Sharon Osbourne have both been snapped out and about with shocking and vibrant scarlet hair, which could inspire women with light brown or blonde hair to look at natural hair dye.ADNFCR-2885-ID-19879509-ADNFCR
