One of the hottest trends creeping under the radar this summer could be a return to the vampish 1920s bob, a siren-sweet but edgy cut that would suit women who currently tint their locks with organic hair dyes.
January Jones, the star of hit TV series Mad Men, has traditionally sported a blonde bob but has been snapped in a photo shoot sporting a 1920s, flapper-inspired and shocking red bob with choppy ends, Style List has reported.
While the actress posed for the photo shoot in a red wig, celeb hair stylist Mark Townsend fashioned this for the shoot and eager trend-spotters could take inspiration from the cut.
Mr Townsend said: '[We] were inspired by 1920s sirens and we wanted to show the power of hair and makeup and how they can be used to really transform a person's look.'
In addition to her role as suburban housewife Betty Draper, she has also starred in Brit comedy The Boat That Rocked, Love Actually and Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights.
