Women and their natural makeup routines are something that many men will never understand, but a new survey has revealed that we are intentionally keeping them in the dark.
Research conducted by Jolen of 3,000 British women has found that on
average a woman spends five hours a day in the bathroom preening in the mirror, but 18 per cent of us are deliberately hiding our natural makeup routine from our men.
A spokeswoman for Jolen said: ''Most women have a regimented beauty regime which they will have stuck to for years and men don't seem to realise the effort women put in on a daily basis.'
But not only are women hiding their natural makeup routine from their partners, but from other women too two thirds said they deny using beauty products if a friend complements them on how good they're looking.
However, summer is the time to go against the grain and reduce your natural makeup routine to a more wearable level that's suitable for heat.
