How to avoid natural makeup blunders

How to avoid natural makeup blunders

Natural makeup fans have been warned of the top beauty blunders, which could leave them looking more like a tramp than a lady.

Isabel Roces, writing for the Philippine Daily Inquirer, has explained that issues such as wearing makeup that is either a shade too light or too dark can draw attention for all the wrong reasons.

'Test a foundation on your jaw line or the back of your palm. Or let your real skin shine through. After applying moisturiser, use foundation as cover-up,' she said.

Other blunders included attempting to cover up a spot, which, in turn, draws more attention to it, and wearing too much makeup, which can be an issue as women get older.

Natural makeup fans were also told to avoid moisturiser near the eyes if they plan to wear eyeliner, as this will only run and when it comes to self tanning 'don't miss a spot'.

One trend that is definitely not a blunder is toffee, caramel and honey shades, which are currently all over the catwalk.ADNFCR-2885-ID-800042779-ADNFCR
