Natural haircare: Make the most of what you've got

Women have been urged to look after their tresses.

Women considering dabbling with the natural hair dye bottle have been urged to give their locks some TLC now and again.

Celebrity hairdresser John Chapman spoke to Stuff.co.nz and explained that the secret to shine is looking after your tresses in the warm weather and investing in a weekly treatment.

He said this is particularly important if you want a nice natural hair dye colour with a high-shine, think Liv Tyler's brunette hair and Julianne Moore's redhead locks.

'The younger people coming through like Rachel Bilson and Emma Roberts, Julia Roberts' niece, have great hair. It's about making the most of what you've got,' he asserted to the news provider.

Mr Chapman added that if women put the time in then it will be worth it, not only in how it feels, but in how it looks.

Kim Kardashian is another A-lister with continual high-shine, and if you're wanting to draw attention to your locks, then consider going for the blunt fringe, which only makes her stand out from the crowd even more.ADNFCR-2885-ID-800037017-ADNFCR
