Natural skincare: Grow old gracefully

Natural skincare: Grow old gracefully
Posted by Annie Coyne

The French know where it's at when it comes to the good old natural skincare routine, and according to one beauty expert, we should all take a leaf out of their book.

Ann Morrison, writing for SMH, explained that stars such as Juliette Binoche and Isabelle Huppert seem to know the secrets of ageing well and gracefully – no Botox for these ladies.

The first tip is to maintain a steady weight, which as we all know is achieved by eating little and often and keeping an eye on the scales for any extra pounds, but avoid exercise – walking is an acceptable way to keep fit.

'French women also recommend facials, massages and spa 'cures' in their campaign against wrinkles, cellulite and saggy bottoms, bellies and breasts,' Ms Morrison added.

When it comes to makeup, less is best, and with regards to natural skincare, the French apparently have a cream for everything – ' day creams (with sunscreen), night creams, repulping creams, serums, moisturisers, cleansers, toners', and many more.

It goes without saying; regular sessions on the sunbeds will only damage any natural skincare routine you get in place, and could even damage your eyes.ADNFCR-2885-ID-800035097-ADNFCR
