Old-fashioned natural beauty 'back in fashion'

Old-fashioned natural beauty

Women are increasingly looking to the natural beauty trends of their mothers, according to one fashion and make-up expert.

Liz Jones, writing for the Daily Mail, has explained that the glamour that we once saw from the female icons of the 50s is now totally in fashion, as is the whole look of being 'made up'.

She notes Holly Willoughby's style recently, wearing hair extensions, false eyelashes, blusher, lipstick and French-polished acrylic nails.

'It was a look that oozed the sort of old-fashioned glamour that we haven't seen since the 50s,' she asserted, adding that in recent times women no longer need an excuse to wear a full face of makeup, as this has become the 'norm'.

However she does note that if you are applying your natural beauty products in a bid to emulate Dita Von Teese's sexiness – it may take you a lot longer than the average stint in front of the mirror.

Apparently we're all reverting back in time when it comes to natural beauty, according to Diane Aiello, beauty expert and owner of Glam Lounge Makeup Artists, who recently told ABC15.com that the 80s are a great source of inspiration.ADNFCR-2885-ID-19916283-ADNFCR
