Ladies have been offered tips on how to ensure their natural makeup lasts for longer than usual.

Jennifer Roe, writing for NJ, has explained that there are some simple ways to conserve your natural makeup, such as slightly wetting your sponge before applying foundation, which means that less product will be lost in being absorbed by the sponge.

To get the most out of your mascara, the beauty commentator suggests holding the tube under running warm water or warming it up with the hair dryer, which will loosen up any product that may be stuck to the bottom.

Ms Roe then went on to suggest making the most of your lipstick by using a lip brush, which coincidentally links in with the latest autumn/winter 2010 trend of perfectly shaped lips from yesteryear.

If you'd like your natural makeup to multitask, then invest in an eyeliner brush, wet it slightly and use your eyeshadow as an eye liner.ADNFCR-2885-ID-800052744-ADNFCR
