Women have been told to take some of their natural makeup inspiration from New York Fashion Week, in which a number of trends and fashion tips have emerged.

Sophia Panych, writing for the Allure beauty blog, has explained that, while there were some styles on the catwalk that would attract attention for all the wrong reasons, there were some gorgeous looks that natural makeup fans should take note of.

At Peter Som it was all about the eyes, with heavy liner being applied for instant glamour, and makeup artist Tom Pecheux explained that getting the slickest line means no lotions or creams beforehand.

'You should also always prep with a little foundation or concealer - I prefer concealer because it's a bit thicker and acts as a better base,' he added.

Meanwhile, Lisa Butler for Philip Lam told the news provider that one way to get extra depth one your nude lips is to use a eyebrow pencil round the edges, which keeps them from looking flat.

Buns were also a big hit on the spring catwalk, in all shapes and sizes, whereas the ponytail is very-much this season. ADNFCR-2885-ID-800074319-ADNFCR
